And btw I know the history of how Ryan’s parents met and stuff is gross but I always wanted to have a character that came from one of those fucked up situations.

+Name: Ryan Lee Zurlo.
+Nicknames: None.
+Gender: Male.
+Grade: 11, class-B.
+Age: 17.
+Height: 6”3.

+Wish:
“I wish I was strong enough-- stronger than him so I could finally show that bastard a piece of my mind.”

+Personality:
Although Ryan may be tall, strong, and intimidating he isn’t as scary as he first appears to be. In fact, Ryan is a complete moron who loves to have fun and get a little competitive with his friends. He isn’t the brightest crayon in the box at times but this doesn’t mean he’s a complete airhead – he’s got a brain he just doesn’t use it well.
Ryan isn’t one to make friends with everyone; it takes a while for anyone to gain his trust but once they do they’ve got a loyal friend for life. If Ryan thinks someone is worth his effort he’ll do anything to make them happy and make sure they’re safe.

+Soul Gem:
Egg Form:
An egg-shaped gem held within a golden canister with the magi symbol in their respective spots. The gem it’s self is red.
Bracelet Form:
A thin golden bracelet with some sort of markings embellishing it. The bracelet doesn’t fully connect; a small diamond tattoo on Ryan’s wrist sits between the bracelet’s gap.
In Magi Form:
A red diamond shaped gem attached to a golden bracelet that sits on his forearm.

+Weapon:
Shield : A large shield that doubles as a huge throwing disk, the edges of the shield are extremely sharp and can cut through almost anything like a blade.

+Abilites:
Fire: Can manipulate and control fire if an open source is available, he can also set his own body on fire like a torch for only a certain amount of time as wielding fire drains his power significantly. In general Ryan can withstand fire and heat fairly well.

Physical Tolerance : Due to this nature of his wish most of his power is physical strength – he mostly battles bare handed in close hand-to-hand combat when able to. Because of this strength to takes a few extra blows to knock Ryan down and seems to have an extreme pain tolerance compared to the average magi.

+Due to most his magic being focused on brute strength he has very poor healing time and often will carry the same wounds for months.

+He also does terrible in cold temperatures, snow, and water. His body has trouble withstanding it and can often cause him to become sluggish in battle.

+ Background:
Ryan comes from a rather poor and broken household, his mother being rather young when she had him thus dropped out of school and his father a foreigner who had moved there for the sake of fun and travel. His parents never intended to stay together never mind have children but with the unplanned arrival of Ryan his mom attempted to make this ‘family’ work. Of course, this plan failed and resulted in a household which no one got along or everyone merely tried to co-exist with each other to get through the day.
Although Ryan found that hard when it came with his father – the two bumped heads quite easily and always got into arguments. It came to points where they’d even get into physical fights but as Ryan was rather small and scrawny for his age his father always had the upper hand thus he struggled to stand up for himself. Angry and frustrated by this fact he ran into Chiibey at the bus stop one night. Listening to his offer he was quick to agree in his angered state.
After his wish he soon seemed to go through a crazy growth spurt as the shortest kid in class soon became the tallest. Along with his height he became well-toned and was soon was dubbed the star athlete at school playing on the soccer, football, and track team. No one questioned his sudden growth or popularity, they all assumed the boy had just finally gone through puberty.

+Additional information:
+ His parent’s aren’t married and his father is about 9 years older than his mother.
+ Has a younger brother named Everest.
+ Ryan is an oriental/Caucasian mix.
+ He works part-time at a maid café that has different weekly costume themes. He is ashamed to admit he works there but is popular with the female clients.
+ Has an American name despite being born in Japan; you can thank his dad for that.
+ Yes, he is kind of a stoner and does drink if he gets bored and depressed at home.
+ His scar isn’t from battle; it’s from an accident he’d rather not say.
+ Has accidently lit his cape on fire thus it’s all ripped at the bottom.
+ His weakness is short people; he thinks they’re cute like little kittens.
+ He wears shorts under his skirt.. Sometimes.
+ Always staying after school either it be soccer practice or working out in the gym.}
